About the role?



An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our Liverpool showroom.

This role is suited to an established retail leader who thrives in a luxury or premium environment and is confident managing people, performance and high-value customer relationships.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you will take real ownership of day-to-day operations, team leadership and the delivery of Wongs' renowned in-store experience. This is a hands-on leadership role with high expectations and genuine progression potential.

This is not a trainee or first-step management position.

What We're Looking For:



We are seeking a confident, polished, and commercially minded retail professional who meets all of the following:

Proven management or assistant management experience in jewellery, luxury, or premium retail A demonstrable track record of leading teams to achieve sales targets and KPIs Experience handling high-value transactions and discerning clientele Strong operational capability, including stock control, compliance and process accuracy The confidence to lead the store in the Store Manager's absence Exceptional communication skills and professional presence High personal standards of presentation, conduct and accountability
Applicants without relevant management experience in a premium or luxury retail environment will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store leadership and operations Drive sales performance while maintaining exceptional service standards Lead, motivate, and hold the team accountable for results and behaviours Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Uphold showroom standards befitting a luxury brand Support training, coaching, and continuous improvement Oversee the full customer journey from enquiry to aftercare Act as a brand ambassador both in-store and online
