Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

Duties

Assist in managing store operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising. Supervise and lead a team of sales associates, fostering a positive work environment. Train and develop staff to enhance their skills in customer service and sales techniques. Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets. Conduct regular team meetings to motivate staff and communicate store objectives. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in time management, ensuring tasks are prioritised effectively. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally. Experience in sales management is desirable, with a focus on achieving results.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.45 per hour
