We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can thrive and develop their skills. You will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of children in our nursery setting.
Duties
Manage daily activities and routines to ensure a structured environment for children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early years education.
Drive initiatives that encourage children's curiosity, creativity, and social skills.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery space that meets health and safety standards.
Be willing to step into the supervisor role when needed.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education is essential level 2 working towards level 3.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and staff.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their development within a nursery environment.
Able to communicate in Welsh is desirable.
