Assistant Swimming Teacher (Casual)

York Swimming Academy Ltd. is looking for passionate, enthusiastic and customer focused Assistant Swimming Teachers to join our team working at our Stamford Bridge venue in York. The successful applicant will be expected to:

1. To help, teach and coach people of all ages and abilities to develop swimming skills, technique and confidence in the water;

2. To assist the Lead Swimming Teacher to deliver sessions in a professional manner and undertake administrative tasks associated with the role (i.e. lesson plans, class registers, monitoring and evaluation).

This is a Casual Contract, with successful applicants assisting regular classes each week.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants will hold the Swim England Level 1 Teaching Qualification. The successful applicant will be friendly, patient and able to work effectively as part of a team. We are looking for somebody who is committed to their own development and keen to learn.

Hours of Work

Sundays 09:00-11:00am at Stamford Bridge Community Pool (YO41 1BP).
