We currently have the following opportunity:



Assistant Team Leader - PKC13219

Pullar House, Perth



You will provide a specialist resource through the development of knowledge and experience in the Access Team which is part of the Early Intervention and Prevention Service.



You will support the Team Leader in the discharge of their duties through supervision of staff, screening and allocation of referrals and representation on inter-agency development forums.



You will work at an advanced level carrying additional duties associated within identified roles or undertake specified tasks to support the Team Leaders and deputise as required.



In this role you will manage and develop specific areas within the Early Intervention and Prevention Service.



You will provide, manage and / or co-ordinate and contribute to the development of good practice and service development. You will also play a supervisory role in Adult Support & Protection cases.

Skills & Experience Required

You must be able to demonstrate initiative and independence, work within defined policy guidelines rather than following established procedures and be expected to deal personally with predictable problems. Access to a supervisor/manager is generally available for unusual or difficult problems.



Extensive practical experience with knowledge across a number of areas is required.



You must have:



- A Social Work Degree - Qualification (DIPSW, CQSW, CSS).

Be willing to work towards a Management qualification at SCQ9 level 9 or above.

This role requires you to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
