Adoption Mid and West Wales (AMWW) is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Assistant Team Manager (ATM).


The ATM will hold a small, complex caseload and fulfil the supervisory role to a limited number of Social Workers in our Adoption Service (WEST) - a busy team with responsibility assessing prospective adopters, family finding and matching among other statutory functions


AMWW is a regional adoption collaboration (RAC) across 4 neighbouring local Authorities, Powys, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire as the host authority.


The RAC prides itself on achieving permanence for children from across the region and this would be your opportunity to work with a committed and experienced team in supporting children and adopters.


We are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic and energetic person who can work collaboratively and guide and motivate a team to deliver a quality service to children, young people and their families, holding social workers to a high standard of practice

We are looking for applicants with a Social Work qualification and experience of working with children, young people and families in a social care role.

DBS level:
