We are excited to announce that we have a temporary Asst. Team Manager secondment opportunity within the Specialist Assessment team whilst we arrange recruitment to a permanent post.
This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in an Assistant Team Manager role, if you are ready for the next step of your career.
Alongside two Senior Practitioners, you will provide operational and professional leadership to the Specialist Assessment Teams in the Bridgend Locality. This post will support the Special Assessment Manager and have delegated deputising responsibilities but will focus on the operational leadership of the Specialist Assessment Teams as well as providing a lead on staff and student education.
You will provide day to day managerial and professional support and advice to the Occupational Therapists, Sensory staff and other staff in respect of Occupational Therapy practice and interventions. You will ensure compliance with policies, procedures and legislation and to promote the highest standards of professional practice within the Occupational Therapy and Sensory Team service.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
