Job Description

Cardiorespiratory Investigations are employing additional part time Assistant Technical Officer(s).



The successful candidates will be working in the Community Diagnostic hubs and at Salford Royal Hospital and Community Hubs to support Cardiology, Respiratory and Phlebotomy. Locations include Little Hulton, Swinton, West One, Irlam, Pendleton, Broughton and Salford Royal Hospital.



A UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.



Experience in any diagnostic techniques to support these investigations will be beneficial.



Patients are transferred for diagnostic tests as in-patients, outpatients, from general practitioners and other hospitals.

Main duties will be:

Provides a high quality efficient and effective Cardiorespiratory investigations service to the local population.



Unsupervised recording of Electrocardiograms and routine pulmonary function tests



Application and Removal and safe handling of cardiac event recorders BP and sleep monitors
