Assistant Technician

Flowstop Services have been providing high quality specialist services to the gas industry for nearly 40 years. We are looking for mechanically minded applicants that are hardworking, meticulous, able to work well within a team. As an Assistant Technician, you would be required to undertake various duties which include, but are not limited to:

o Assisting the Lead Technician on-site with all aspects of installation, maintenance, and repair work.

o Travel UK-wide, with some projects requiring overnight stays.

o Work in physically demanding environments, including outdoor and confined spaces in all weather conditions.

o Start work early, adapting to variable schedules based on project requirements

o Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations

o Assist in the loading and unloading of our vehicles for the next day's operations at our hub in Dartford.

o Capable of safely carrying heavy equipment and undertake physical duties.

o Be able to follow our health and safety polices to the best of your ability.

o Operate material handling equipment i.e. Forklift & Pallet Truck.

Requirements:

o Experience is not necessary as full training is given, although any knowledge would obviously be an asset.

o A full, clean driving license is required.

o A forklift license would be preferable but not essential as training will be given.

o Willingness to work overtime if required to do so.

o A good understanding of Maths and English.

Salary: 20k - 25k per annum (Depending on experience)

Hours: 40 Hour Week
