Spearheading the JRL Group from the outset J Reddington Ltd have been an industry leading groundwork and concrete frame specialist for over two decades.


Building on a proven track record to date, the company is now increasingly being called upon to deliver solutions on large projects in London and the South East.


We are looking to recruit a design engineer with responsibility for carrying out temporary works schemes and associated design reports with scheme drawings.


Role includes but is not limited to:

Undertake the design of concrete structures, groundwork and formwork systems Produce workshop drawings for concrete structures, groundwork support and formwork support systems Value engineering Evaluate Revit projects and families for integration to Navisworks Simulate according to job specific programmes Virtual construction of surrounding infrastructure and detailed areas for logistic purposes Produce 3D construction sequences for tender purposes using Revit Produce tender presentation documentation Liaise with clients and all members of the design team May need to travel to JRL sites throughout UK

Requirements:

Applicants should have recently graduated have a third level qualification in civil or structural engineering Expected to have a good working knowledge of 3D software especially Revit, Tedds, Robot, Wallap, Graytec Advanced design Ability to perform under pressure and work to tight deadlines Excellent verbal and communication skills Must be able to work as part of a team but use own initiative to complete tasks
