(working to a rota to ensure 24-hour staff cove including waking nights, weekends, bank holidays etc)
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Tenancy Support Worker who has the relevant values and skills necessary to assist in providing tenancy related support to those who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness, impacted by adverse childhood experiences, often with complex support needs.
You will be a resilient assistant support worker, a team player, able to deliver a high-quality service that helps young people recognise their own strengths, develop independent living skills, and move away from homelessness for good.
You will need to adopt a flexible approach to working, covering various shifts to ensure 24-hour staff cover. Some shifts will require you to lone work.
The post holder will be required to have:
? Ability or experience of providing support to those with complex support needs.
? Excellent communication and people skills.
? Ability to manage a complex case load.
? Having empathy and understanding of the needs of those affected by homelessness and an understanding of the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences.
? Good level of I.T skills.
? Having a flexible approach to working hours, covering the project rota including waking nights, evenings, weekends etc. to meet the needs of service users living at the project.
