Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant unit manager (room TBC) to lead our early childhood education programme alongside the rooms Unit manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the room, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to educational excellence, and the ability to foster positive relationships with staff, children, and parents.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes holistic child development. Manage daily operations of the preschool, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Foster a welcoming atmosphere for children and families, encouraging parental involvement in the preschool community. Monitor children's progress and implement strategies to support individual learning needs. Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that meets health and safety standards. Conduct regular assessments of the educational programme and make necessary adjustments to enhance learning outcomes.

Skills



Strong educational background in early childhood education or related field. Proven experience in managing a preschool or similar educational setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff. Ability to educate others on best practices in early childhood development. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 31,005.00-32,760.00 per year
