We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Health & Safety Advisor. In this role, you will provide essential support to our sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the overall success of our safety services.
Responsibilities
Having a hands-on approach, you will be working on sites and in the office making sure first aid kits are present anf fully stocked, along with checking fire exstinguishers ensuring a safe workplace for all employees.
Responsible to assist staff welfare
You will play an active part in designing and implementing forms and processes.
You will also take responsibility for ordering and getting safety signage installed,
Assist the H&S team reporting andensuring accuracy and clarity.
Maintain detailed records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with team members to analyse investment performance and identify areas for improvement through root cause analysis.
Contribute to the development of internal processes by assisting in report writing and documentation of best practices.
Creating the quality parameters, then test the process before handing over for the site personnel to implement.
Data collating and forwarding to the client where appropriate.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative or support role.
Strong report writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Familiarity within agricultural environment advantageous but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with experience in conducting root cause analysis being highly desirable.
