This role is available to applicants from across the UK as it is a job which can be conducted remotely

The Assistive Technology & Workplace Enablement Specialist will oversee this aspect of our operations, working directly with clients to

assess needs, implement assistive technology, and enable individuals to thrive in their workplace

. The role also involves supporting business development to

identify, engage, and secure customers who would benefit from assistive technology, workplace strategy, and neurodiversity support services

.

This position combines

customer assessment, technology deployment, training, coaching, workplace enablement, and client engagement

, ensuring end users are empowered to perform confidently and independently while supporting growth of the company's services.

Key Responsibilities



Recommend, configure, and provide both on-site and remote installation of appropriate

assistive technology solutions

, ensuring users are confident and independent in their use. Provide troubleshooting support to clients alongside knowledge articles for our clients Deliver

hands-on training and coaching

to enable employees to maximise the benefit of assistive technology. Provide

workplace enablement coaching

, advising on ergonomics, desk setup, lighting, workflow, and accessibility strategies. Provide

neurodiversity support

, including tailored guidance to improve focus, reduce sensory challenges, and support cognitive diversity in the workplace. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure coordinated delivery and enablement. Conduct

customer assessments

to identify assistive technology, workplace setup, and accessibility needs. Maintain accurate records of assessments, recommendations, training sessions, and support interventions. Monitor emerging assistive technology, workplace strategies, and neurodiversity best practices. Regularly review the assistive software, hardware and services we are offering to our clients to keep them up to date Provide feedback on product suitability, workplace strategies, and customer experience to inform service improvement.

Support business development

to identify potential customers, explain services, and help to secure new engagements for assistive technology and workplace enablement solutions. Advise our procurement team on best avenues to source assistive software and hardware from a variety of suppliers Contribute to internal resources, guidance, and training materials to promote accessibility, enablement, and neurodiversity support.

Qualifications



Relevant qualification or demonstrable experience in

Assistive Technology, Workplace Strategy, Ergonomics, Neurodiversity Support, Accessibility, or related fields

. Training or certification in assistive technology, accessibility software, or neurodiversity awareness is desirable (e.g., Microsoft Accessibility, Dragon Certified Instructor, AT Certification, ADHD/Autism awareness).

Skills and Competencies



Knowledge of assistive technology, ergonomic solutions, and accessibility tools and the market in general. Ability to assess individual needs and

enable employees to use solutions confidently and independently

. Strong understanding of workplace strategy and neurodiversity principles. Excellent

customer engagement and communication skills

. Competent in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of assistive technology. Strong coaching skills to deliver enablement, training, and ongoing support. Organised, with excellent record-keeping, reporting, and scheduling skills. Commitment to staying up-to-date with assistive technology, workplace enablement, and accessibility best practices.

Experience



Proven experience assessing and recommending assistive technology solutions. Experience overseeing the operation aspect of assistive and enablement solutions. Experience providing

training, coaching, and workplace enablement

to employees or customers. Experience supporting

neurodiverse individuals

in work or educational environments. Experience in helping to secure new customers or service contracts. Liaising with suppliers to source assistive software and hardware Familiarity with accessibility software and adaptive hardware is essential.

Additional Requirements



Enhanced DBS/Background check if working with vulnerable adults. Ability to travel to customer sites as required (with overnight stays) Ability to travel to Head Office once a month Flexibility to provide support and client engagement at times that suit customer needs. Full UK driving license required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 38,000.00-45,000.00 per year
