Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Associate Agent / Producer to join our team. This hybrid role supports our agents in managing talent and developing live productions, while also contributing to the smooth running of office operations and project delivery. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a passion for the performing arts, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask across a varied and fast-paced workload.
Key Responsibilities
Personnel Support
- Liaise with artists, venues, bookshops, and clients to support touring and corporate activity.
- Assist with booking tickets, managing schedules, and coordinating artist logistics.
- Support the development and operations the live department working closely with the lead agent as required - Assist the head of festivals in research and development and administrative duties as required.
- Support networking efforts and occasionally attend live or corporate events for artist and client liaison.
Production Support
- Coordinate tour logistics including seat counts, venue requirements, print assets, and PRS submissions. - Support planning and delivery across festivals, projects, and live tours.
- Help manage production budgets, sales tracking, and financial admin when required.
Office Administration & Marketing
- Keep internal systems, contacts, and digital files organised and up to date.
- Maintain the Gag Reflex website and contribute to blog content.
- Assist with social media scheduling and paid promotions; help create and adapt marketing assets.
- Provide general administrative support across departments, including invoicing and contract tracking.
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal
- A proactive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Competent with standard software including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Canva
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in live entertainment, production, or talent management
- Familiarity with booking systems, CRM platforms, or social media scheduling tools - An interest in comedy, theatre, festivals, or touring environments

Additional Notes
- July and August represent a particularly busy period; holiday leave during these months is prohibited except in exceptional circumstances.
- The role requires relocation to Edinburgh for approximately 4 weeks from the end of July to support the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
- During this period, working hours will increase beyond the standard 40 hours per week to meet the demands of the festival schedule
