: Associate Brand Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the UK Immunology and Inflammation Marketing team at an exciting time to support growth of a well-established product, to drive breakthroughs that will change patients\xe2\x80\x99 lives in this therapy area.

The Associate Brand Manager (aBM) is accountable for delivering marketing activity as well as maximising growth opportunities in the UK, through innovation, patient focus and in line with Global strategies.

Working with the Country Marketing Team, you will take a lead role in launching campaigns, developing the brand strategy and omnichannel tactical sequence. You display operational excellence at a country level and bring customer & marketplace insights into the cross functional team, to influence and shape strategy and tactics. You deliver flawless execution of marketing plans, adapted to local needs, for a strong customer experience whilst creating sustainable value, incorporating strong financial management skills for the local DME budget.

In line with the principles of Bold Move 3.3 and our aim to Transforming Our Go to Market Model, this role plays a significant part in the delivery of this transformation with a particular focus on Omni Channel activity. You will report to the Country Brand Lead, in I&I, as an active member of the brand cross-functional team. You will have a a strong relationship with all relevant internal stakeholders in country (e.g. Field, Medical, H&V, Policy & Public Affairs, Legal, Compliance, Quality, HR, and Regulatory) and above country (e.g. Global Brand Team members). This role is based out of our Walton Oaks office with flexible working possible, and the occasional requirement for travel.

THE ROLE

Marketing & Strategy Execution to Maximise Revenues

  • Backing the development of Country Brand Plan
  • Backing the execution of brand strategy in country \xe2\x80\x93 contribute to execution of key brand programs
  • Maximise impact of marketing activities through optimal channel mix, including newer channels
Leadership
  • Contribute to in-country cross-functional team, including coordinating and supporting the activities of members of the team as appropriate to achieve success
  • Develop relations with key internal and external stakeholders
Financial Planning
  • Support the planning, spending & controlling of budgets (revenue & DME) established for own areas of duty & interpret regular forecast updates to aid financial planning
  • Input into country sales and forecasting, including monitoring performance vs KPIs
Customer Engagement & Insight
  • Team up with customer facing leadership team to help drive alignment with overall brand strategy and incorporation of market feedback
  • Work with customer facing colleagues for customer/Omni channel activities/programs to support strong external stakeholder & customer engagement
  • Contribute to the collection & comprehension of customer and patient insights for inclusion into the local and European business plans
  • Actively engage with advocates and other important customers as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fluency in English language
  • University degree required (business administration or scientific degree preferred)
  • Demonstrable time spent in a marketing role in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrates a fundamental understanding of basic marketing skills
  • Strong organization skills/ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Track record of working collaboratively with others across functions
  • Experience interacting with external customers & stakeholders and acting upon customer insights
