Do you enjoy providing outstanding pension consulting services? Join Gallagher as an Associate Pension Consultant, supporting Consultants and Senior Consultants with their client portfolios.
This would be a phenomenal opportunity for an individual with experience specific to Defined Benefit scheme consulting and whom can demonstrate exposure to preparing for and attending client meetings to further cultivate and develop that experience within our highly-regarded, successful, collaborative team.
How you'll make an impact
The role involves providing expert consultancy support, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with statutory and non-statutory deadlines. Key responsibilities include preparing Trustee Reports, Accounts, Scheme Returns, and coordinating client billing processes. The successful candidate will plan and document trustee meetings, lead report production, and promote Gallagher's services to expand our client base.
Acting as Secretary to the Trustees, you will advise on scheme development, regulatory changes, and unapproved benefit arrangements. You will liaise with solicitors, insurers, and regulatory bodies, deliver presentations, and identify new business opportunities. The role also requires peer review of work, accurate time recording, and adherence to corporate policies. This position demands strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage with clients at all levels.
About You
Experience with occupational pension schemes in a similar consulting support/client support-type position.
Demonstrable experience in trustee governance and secretarial support.
Strong client relationship leadership skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Proactive, diligent, and a collaborative team member.
Proficient in numeracy, literacy, and computer skills.
Ideally studying towards or having achieved APMI status.
