The Fix Creative are looking for an ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR (ART)
The Associate Creative Director (Art) helps to lead and mentor the creative team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpreting client briefs and coming up with inventive and original ideas that take into account client expectations, audience, and business context
  • Creating the project vision and communicating it effectively to the team, outlining all deliverables and ensuring everyone understands what is expected of them
  • Managing the scope and budget of projects and ensuring these are respected throughout the creative process
  • Sharing responsibility with client relationship team for the delivery of projects, getting involved in estimating and scheduling to ensure enough time is allocated to each project for the creative deliverables
  • Executing world-class, exceptional creative content
  • Presenting the P&P brand to the client articulately, logically, and clearly
  • Presenting (the business, creative ideas) to the client articulately and logically, with clear and authoritative rationale
  • Ensuring our ideas are presented and articulated to the client in a digestibleand relevant way
  • Recording, actioning or pushing back on feedback with a clear and authoritative rationale
  • Liaising with external suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of materials and services provided
  • Keeping abreast of industry thinking and trends
Team relations
  • Facilitating effective collaboration by fostering open, honest, and regular communication within each project team and across the agency
  • Building strong relationships with the client relationship team (and others), becoming a trusted creative partner and advisor throughout the end-to-end creative process
  • Having regular catch ups with project teams to ensure they are on track, giving support and direction where necessary
  • Acting as a mentor by providing guidance, feedback, and direction
  • Supporting the creative development of peers and junior members of the team
  • Sharing learnings from past projects or research to help the team benefit fromyour experience
  • Supporting on pitches, presentations, and meetings as needed
  • Motivating, empowering, and inspiring others around you to ensure a consistently high level of creative output
  • Communicating the value of creativity (with the creative team) to the wider business
Client relationships
  • Building strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted creative partner and advisor during the end-to-end creative process
  • Demonstrating in-depth and authoritative understanding of client context, competitors,and industry
  • Collaborating with clients and client services to set out project timelines and budgets
  • Joining regular client calls and meetings to provide progress updates and drive the creative direction of projects
  • Presenting and articulating our ideas to the client in a digestible and relevant way through delivering a compelling message and explaining the underlying strategy
  • Demonstrating in-depth and authoritative understanding of client context, competitors, and industry through a high level of client mapping
SKILLS
  • Solid, successful experience in a similar level creative role
  • Strong ad agency and/or design agency experience
  • At least 5 years' experience working within the healthcare space (pharma and med device)
  • A strong track record of creating outstanding and award-winning creative work
  • Proven experience of building successful client relationships, in order to earn client trust
  • Experience of driving the creative process from initial briefing to final product and thorough knowledge of design and creative production processes and procedures
  • Proven ability to set budgets, allocate resources, and plan and schedule projects
  • Fluency in and comprehensive knowledge of creative packages: Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. Motion Graphics in After Effects (preferred but not essential)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and/or experience performing output quality control
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • An understanding of med-comms, advertising, and PR within the healthcare sector
