Please note there are a limited number of spaces available. Invite to attend will be subject to successful application and requirements set out below:
Successful candidates will:
1. Submit all the required documentation (including DBS, professional registration, references, indemnity insurance)
2. Join 2 remote Care ADHD training sessions before the event
3. Come to our Canary Wharf office to complete the in-person training, and deliver your first (fully supervised) assessment.
4. The event will include a breakfast meet and great, complimentary lunch in our fabulous atrium, and a friendly networking session at the end of each day.
After successful completion of the training, and sign-off following your first assessment, you will be able to start providing clinics!
You'll be well supported after sign-off by our Clinical and Associate Experience teams, and you'll benefit from ongoing supervision and training opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing
As a CYP ADHD Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment process for children and young people seeking ADHD diagnosis and support. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive ADHD assessments through interviews, questionnaires, and diagnostic tools.
Developing individualised assessment reports and recommendations for treatment plans based on your findings.
Collaborating with other members of the clinical team to ensure a seamless assessment experience for children, young people and their guardians.
Providing expert guidance and support to CYPs and guardians throughout the assessment journey, ensuring they feel heard, understood and valued.
Staying current with ADHD research and best practices, integrating this knowledge into your assessments and client interactions.
Your expertise will not only enhance the quality of care we provide but also contribute to building a welcoming and effective environment for children and young people in need of support.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
We're looking for someone for this position, who's not just clinically skilled but also adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. To thrive in this role, you'll need:
A relevant clinical qualification (e.g., Psychology, Psychiatry, Nursing) with experience of working with children and young people in CAMHS, including ADHD.
Registered with one of the following Registered Bodies: Nursing and Midwifery Council, General Pharmaceutical Council, Health and Care Professions Council or Social Work England
A strong understanding of ADHD and related mental health challenges in children and young people, along with the diagnostic tools used in assessments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, young people and their guardians, and provide compassionate support.
A collaborative approach--working well with multidisciplinary teams is key to our success.
The ability to manage multiple assessments efficiently.
Strong report-writing skills with great attention to detail.
A proactive mindset - comfortable with change, open to new ways of working, and eager to contribute to a growing service.

This is a self-employed position
The role will require you to be able to work in a quiet, well-lit space with good internet access allowing you to conduct confidential 1:1 appointments and assessments in a private and professional manner.
Full training around assessments is provided.
Our Hiring Process
We aim to make our hiring process as streamlined as possible as we have quite a comprehensive training package included in the role:
1. Shortlisted candidates are invited to a Competency Call with our Talent Acquisition team.
2. Successful candidates will then be required to submit all the required documentation (including DBS, professional registration, references, indemnity insurance)
3. Attendance of our ADHD Assessment and Diagnosis Training, in advance of Sign-off Event.
4. Further training provided at our in-person event in advance of your sign-off clinic.
5. The final stage is to deliver a supervised sign-off clinic where you will be approved (subject to evaluation / successful completion) for independent clinics upon successful completion of the diagnostic report.
