Job Summary





What is the opportunity?




Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives the Associate role, will support the effective delivery of all key Wealth Management Europe (WME) data related initiatives, managing change and aligning Wealth management International (WMI) Data Strategy Office resources with ongoing projects.


You will provide training and coaching to the WMI Data Strategy Office teams in respect of any new data initiatives and co-ordinate and support associated end user testing.

RBC's expectation is that from mid-September 2025, all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?



Support key WMI data related initiatives as directed. Execute against strategic initiatives and action plans, effectively monitoring to ensure goals and critical success factor activities are carried out and met. Support effective execution of changes to implement and deliver key data initiatives and improve operating efficiency of the Data Strategy Office. Work collaboratively with business partners and technology teams to support the advancement of data-driven initiatives. Support design, development, and testing activities by managing the Data Strategy Office requirements clarifications and root-cause analysis. Support enhancements to practical user experiences, personas, process flows and interactions to support user testing, training and roll out of new functionality. Ensure progress and actions are actively documented and tracked in JIRA and communicated effectively with the Data Strategy Office teams. Contribute to successful project completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies. Provide day to day operational support and advice to the Data Strategy teams. Provide support to all associated data remediation projects as required.

What do you need to succeed?



Must-have



Strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills. Ability and personality to lead and drive execution, navigate obstacles with strong influencing skills. Experience supporting the implementation of data solutions in the financial sector. Critical thinking and design thinking skills. Working knowledge of Agile techniques.

Ability to make decisions and use initiative.
