is the central IT department supporting teaching, learning, and research across the University. Within IT Services, the
Programme and Projects Delivery Group (PPDG)
leads the delivery of strategic initiatives, including the Improving Wireless Programme, which will expand the centrally managed wireless service to over 300 buildings, helping to ensure reliable and modern wireless access across our world-renowned facilities. About the Role
As
Associate Delivery Manager
, you will support the delivery of the University's Improving Wireless Programme, working closely with the Delivery Manager and cross-functional teams. You'll help coordinate Agile delivery activities, utilising our 8-stage process, to manage stakeholder communications, and ensure readiness for wireless installations across the University.
You'll use tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps to track progress, manage delivery workflows, and support Agile ceremonies. This is a developmental role ideal for someone with foundational delivery experience who is looking to grow into a full delivery management position.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have: Experience working in a digital services, IT, or product delivery environment.
Awareness of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to manage a varied workload.
