Bankhouse Dental Care, Airdrie | Portman Dentex

We are seeking a dedicated and confident NHS Associate Dentist to join our well-established practice in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire. This role is ideal for a clinician comfortable managing an NHS list and interested in gradually converting patients to private and Denplan, with strong team and practice support.


Airdrie is a well-connected town in North Lanarkshire, around 12 miles from Glasgow city centre, with excellent transport links.

NHS-focused role with private conversion potential Up to 5 days per week (flexible) Existing NHS patient list available Excellent private and Denplan opportunity for motivated clinicians Full-time surgery availability Monday-Friday

Practice Highlights

3 spacious surgeries with modern layout R4 clinical software Experienced Practice Manager and supportive clinical team Stable, friendly nursing and support staff Mixed practice: NHS, Private & Denplan High patient demand Referrals currently sent out for orthodontics, sedation, oral surgery, and complex implants Opportunity to work alongside senior clinicians

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality NHS dental care Manage and maintain an NHS patient list Identify opportunities to convert suitable patients to private and Denplan Build strong patient rapport and trust Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records Work collaboratively with the practice team Adhere to all NHS and clinical governance requirements

About You

BDS or equivalent qualification Current

GDC registration

Confident managing an NHS list independently Interest in private dentistry and patient conversion Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team-oriented, reliable, and patient-focused Flexible and adaptable working style
