Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our friendly dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental care, with a passion for providing high-quality patient treatment and education. As an Associate Dentist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive dental services while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues. Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care. Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in the creation of dental restorations. Interpret medical imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent qualification recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC). Proven knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry. Proficiency in CAD technology is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
