Are you a motivated dentist with a keen eye and skills in both general and cosmetic dentistry, particularly in areas like composite bonding, veneers, and crowns?
This flexible part-time schedule includes 2-3 days per week with the possibility of Saturdays, and the potential to extend your hours based on mutual agreement and practice needs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients,
tailoring options to their individual needs and preferences
in both general and cosmetic dentistry.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, encompassing fillings, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments including composite bonding, veneers, and crowns.
Provide routine dental cleaning and preventive treatments to ensure optimal oral health.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to develop customised treatment plans for each patient, with an ethos
to maintain, enhance and restore oral function and aesthetics
.
Educate patients on correct oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records and treatment plan documentation.
Skills and Experience:
Qualified Dentist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and interpretation, including X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, clearly explain treatment options, and address concerns empathetically.
Experience using intraoral scanners for capturing digital impressions.
Strong knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of various oral health conditions.
Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills.
