Associate Dentist

to join our all

private/denplan

practice based in

Chepstow

. The position can be taken on a full or part time basis - hours can be flexible to suit the job holder with opportunity for condensed weekly hours also. Employment will be on a self employed basis but open to discussion if differing terms more suitable. As an Associate Dentist the post holder should posses a strong foundation in dental care whilst working collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive dental services with a focus on providing a high standard of care to patients.

We are a friendly team and an established

family run independent dental practice

with convenient transport links as we sit just off of the M48 in Chepstow. We offer 6 well equipped surgeries purpose built over 2 floors. The dental practice is a large modern environment and we very much support skill mix utilising extended duties trained nurses, dental therapists and hygienists to support clinical care. We are fully computerised and currently use dentally software, fully digital x-rays in each surgery, CBCT, 2 x itero scanners, Romexis scanner that can be utilised for chair side crown manufacture, operating microscope and onsite lab facilities.

We offer a full range of treatments including restorative cosmetic dentistry, cosmetic orthodontics and Implants. We also have an oral surgeon offering sedation and an endodontic specialist offering referrals in practice.

The post holder will be taking over an established Denplan list and some private patients. With ample opportunity for growth of your list and special interest development. Denplan provides security for someone looking to develop as it caters for various experience levels and our supportive team will ensure a smooth transition.

The practice offers a supportive environment as it was a Foundation dentist training practice for over 10 years and our experienced practice principal has also worked as a clinical supervisor at the University Hospital in Cardiff.

Requirements

GDC registration Indemnity Qualification certificates - BDS in Dentistry and any relevant qualifications. References Excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of team whilst also being independent and self motivated. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
