Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. 14.00 per UDA plus great private potential shared at 50%

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs. Carry out a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for restorative procedures. Interpret medical imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Experience

A recognised dental degree (BDS or equivalent) and current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC). Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is beneficial. Strong knowledge of human anatomy as it pertains to dentistry. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
