Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our growing team, NHS and Private dental practice in an affluent area in the west end of Dundee.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental care, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient experiences. This role involves performing a range of dental procedures while ensuring the highest standards of care and safety. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to promote oral health and educate patients on best practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals. Utilise medical imaging techniques to diagnose and treat dental issues effectively. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure seamless patient care. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques as appropriate. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Experience

A degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution is required. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified dentists. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: 81,628.00-120,000.00 per year
