Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental care, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient experiences. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Perform a range of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals. Utilise medical imaging techniques to diagnose and plan treatment effectively. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols. Educate patients on oral health care, preventive measures, and treatment options. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations. Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and practices, including CAD applications. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the practice.

Qualifications



A degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution. Valid dental licence to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Strong knowledge of human anatomy as it pertains to dentistry. Experience with medical imaging technologies is preferred. Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required.

GDC-registered dentist Strong clinical and communication skills Ethical, patient-centred approach Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development Experience with digital systems (e.g. Dentally, intraoral scanners) is a plus
