Associate Job position at Brecknock Dental in Kentish Town - North West London

About the practice:

We are an independent principal-led 9-surgery practice with a team of 16 Dentists and 3 Hygienists.

Our team includes:

3 Hygienists who have been trained to treat perio as well as general hygiene work like airflow.

11 General Dentists who work in a mixed environment, with the option of focusing on their own special interests such as Invisalign, composite bonding, complex restorative/rehabs and facial aesthetics

1 Endodontist, who works privately

1 Periodontists working privately

1 Implantologist and oral surgeon

1 Orthodontist providing both NHS and private care

1 Foundation Dentist

We currently on our 8th year as a FD/DFT training practice. This allows us to have built a structured practice and a trusted approach to supporting and developing our Dentists and staff.

We have a large support team to help our dentists clinically and managerially, consisting of:

4 Full time receptionists

12 Full time nurses

1 Full time practice manager

1 Assistant manager

We have very low staff turnover and much of our support team has been with us for over 10 years. Similarly, Dentists who start with us tend to remain with us long-term.

The practice is modern and fully refurbished and is consistently maintained.

Every surgery has been fitted to a high specification, which includes air-conditioning, a Sonos music system, Belmont chairs, Bambach saddle chairs and aesthetic cabinetry.

We are a fully digital/paperless practice using Dentally (Medical history, NHS forms, private estimates and consent forms).

We have all the equipment you would need/expect to carry out great Dentistry, including electric hand pieces, sand blaster, Itero scanner, OPG, CBCT, Digital intra oral x-rays, rotary endo, intra oral cameras and DSLR.

All of the general consumables and equipment is of a high standard, including Gaenial achord composite, G Premio bond, Gaenial universal flow composite, Doric impression material, Panavia, Fugi plus cement, sectional matrix bands etc.

We are a 10 minute walk from 2 tube stations and 1 over-ground station. There are also parking spaces available to rent, which are a 2 minute walk away.

About the job and you

1 Full time or 2 part time positions available, where the days are flexible.

Start date anytime in March 2026.

Mixed practice position where the number of UDAs is flexible.

We are looking for:

someone who is willing to grow professionally in the terms of their clinical and communication skills, as well as someone who is financially motivated with a view to increase private revenue and reduce NHS UDA commitment.

someone willing to invest in themselves with courses to achieve the above - we can provide significant guidance on how to do so.

someone willing to adopt a zoned diary when they are in the correct stage to do so.

We are willing to consider someone finishing Foundation training or requiring PVLE if they are like-minded and willing to invest in themselves.
