Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop personalised treatment plans.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments.
Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays and intraoral scans to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth practice operations.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in dentistry, including anatomy knowledge and new treatment modalities.
Requirements
Fully qualified Dentist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
Proven experience in general dentistry, with a strong understanding of dental anatomy.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry, such as X-ray interpretation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively.
Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
