Main Purpose of the Role



As a Dentist at Pearls Dental Practice, you will work closely with the local community to:

Prevent and treat dental/oral disease Correct dental irregularities Treat dental/facial injuries
You will play a key role in supporting patients' health and well-being through high-quality, empathetic care, improving lives through quality dentistry.

Key Responsibilities



(Providing you are trained, competent, and indemnified):

Diagnose disease and prepare comprehensive treatment plans Prescribe and provide

endodontic procedures

Provide oral health education and post-operative care Prescribe and interpret radiographs Prescribe medicines as part of dental treatment Provide treatment under general anaesthesia (if applicable) Adhere to

GDC Scope of Practice


Main Duties



Ensure practice policies are followed; report concerns to the Practice Manager Maintain valid

GDC registration

, indemnity, and insurance Keep up with

CPD

requirements and professional development Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions Build positive relationships with colleagues for collaborative patient care Refer patients appropriately when outside your scope of practice Maintain clear, accurate, and contemporaneous clinical records Obtain valid, informed patient consent prior to any treatment Align clinical care with

CGDent, SDCEP, and NICE

guidelines Promote good oral health and provide appropriate patient advice
