Overview

ASSOCIATE DENTIST POSITION at HILLARY STREET DENTAL SURGERY

We are a mixed practice with a focus on Orthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry in Walsall, near junction 9.

We are looking for a dentist to work 3 days a week, ideally Monday, Tuesday and Friday, for NHS and private dentistry. You will be provided an opportunity to learn Orthodontics from our specialist orthodontist and myself.

UDA rate- 13; Private work split 50%

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions. Execute a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Develop and implement personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Utilise CAD technology for precise dental restorations and enhancements. Interpret medical imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth practice operations.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques to support diagnosis and treatment decisions. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy towards patients.

Pay: Up to 10,000.00 per month
