Role Overview




As an Associate Director, you will take a lead role in managing and executing debt advisory mandates, while also contributing to business development and client relationship management. You will work closely with partners and directors to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients and support the strategic growth of the team.

Key responsibilities:



Lead the execution of debt advisory transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation of financing solutions. Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across private equity and corporate clients. Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, financial models, and client presentations. Provide strategic input on capital structure optimisation and financing strategy. Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on technical and commercial aspects of transactions. Contribute to business development efforts, including origination of new mandates and participation in pitch processes. Maintain and grow relationships with key lenders, including banks, debt funds, and alternative finance providers. Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging financing structures.


Qualifications



Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in debt advisory, leveraged finance, corporate finance, or a related field. Strong track record of leading transactions and managing client relationships. Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Deep understanding of debt markets, financing instruments, and legal documentation. Commercially astute, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Collaborative leadership style, with a passion for developing talent and fostering a high-performance culture.
