About this opportunity



Client Services Group (CSG) focuses on the financial needs of large corporate clients within Corporate & Institutional Banking division. Our purpose-led, disciplined growth strategy builds on our expertise in transaction banking, debt financing and risk management.


You'll work within Balance Sheet Management (BSM) function in CSG leading and contributing to the delivery and implementation of CSG's funding and liquidity objectives. This includes shaping, developing, driving and embedding analytical tools and providing insights to coverage and product areas as well as into specialist functions in Risk, Finance and/or Treasury (where appropriate).


Responsibilities of the role include:



Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable strategies for liquidity optimisation, ensuring alignment with LCR and NSFR standards Assess current liquidity interpretation frameworks, highlight gaps, and recommend improvements to processes, systems, and controls within the assigned area. Collaborate with Coverage and Origination teams to leverage liquidity metrics and insights, driving efficiency and optimising funding structures. Actively use latest AI tools to drive cutting edge data insights and analytics to support product proposition and growth Develop and tailor communication materials for diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and relevance in tone and content. Invest in personal development and actively support team capability growth through coaching, mentoring, and specialised training in liquidity risk and regulatory compliance. Conduct research and analyse primary data sources to identify emerging liquidity regulatory trends and inform strategic decisions. Apply technical and professional expertise to resolve complex liquidity-related issues and deliver optimal solutions. Manage budgetary responsibilities for the function and perform detailed analysis of financial performance, ensuring adherence to established frameworks. Work collaboratively with GCT, Risk and other stakeholders to deliver the overall liquidity plan for CIB and CB businesses.

- Uses LCR / NSFR and other regulatory and corporate industry knowledge along with all available digital tools to deliver excellent client experiences whilst identifying ways to grow income, balance sheet and market share and handling associated risks.
