Associate Director - Markets Client Onboarding Manager

to lead the end-to-end onboarding process for our Markets clients.

This role is critical in ensuring clients are set up for success -- from initial outreach through to regulatory readiness and trading enablement. You'll serve as the central orchestrator, collaborating across Sales, Coverage, Product, Risk, Legal, and Ops teams to deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Relationship Management


Manage all aspects of the onboarding lifecycle -- including client outreach, operational readiness, regulatory due diligence, and documentation review Lead onboarding and offboarding coordination across various CIB teams Chair client review and operational meetings, acting as a trusted point of contact Ensure accurate and timely trading setup, including limits and e-platform readiness

Regulatory & Due Diligence Oversight


Execute KYC/CIP checks, FATCA, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and other global requirements Partner with Risk Control and Compliance to manage onboarding risk Maintain accurate onboarding records and ensure regulatory data capture

Process & Operational Excellence


Use workflow tools to manage onboarding requests efficiently Identify and escalate bottlenecks, driving resolution across the onboarding chain Champion process improvements and contribute to the broader transformation strategy

Team Support & Knowledge Sharing


Mentor and support onboarding team members and new joiners Develop, document, and maintain training materials and operating instructions Skills and Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Markets products and regulatory frameworks Excellent client communication and stakeholder engagement skills Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset Skilled in onboarding tools and familiar with cross-functional coordination

Qualifications


Experience & Attributes


Proven experience in Markets client onboarding or a related financial services role Familiarity with account opening, KYC/CIP, and regulatory due diligence processes Strong verbal and written communication in English Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative global team Comfortable navigating complex client structures (e.g., Investor sub-funds)
