Join us as an Associate Finance Business Partner and make an invaluable contribution to our Food Safety & Biosecurity!
As an associate finance business partner, you will report to a Finance Business Partner within the team and will be responsible for delivering a high-quality financial support, advice, and challenge service to operational frontline team.
What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the Finance Business Partners with management of month end accounting processes including preparation of journals, forecasting, variance analysis, costings,
• Preparation and presentation of Management Information and other financial reports.
• Cost Analysis
• Revenue Analysis
• Management of the development of processes and financial analysis reporting to improve the business's ability to monitor performance.
• Support with financial planning, including annual business plans.
• Support with other areas of the finance team as required, including, but not limited to, accounts receivables, accounts payable, bids, financial governance

What we're looking for:

• Part-qualified or working towards an accountancy qualification, or qualified by experience.
• Good management accounting experience
• Experience of working in close partnership with non-financial managers, providing management accounting advice, support and challenge
• Experience of working as part of a team and on own initiative with minimum supervision
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build sound working relationships.
• Use of standard IT packages such as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced).
• Previous experience using Netsuite (Oracle) and/or other finance systems.
