Our Training Division is very well established with our courses delivered to our internal staff as well as other care agencies and statutory services. We are continuing to grow and develop our range of courses so that we can support the care industry.

So are you someone who is currently working in a similar role or someone who wants to bring their professional experience to train and empower others to develop and grow within their role? This is where you will be able to have a positive impact on how care is delivered.

Roles and Responsibilities



You will provide a range of health and social care courses to those delivering a care service on a self-employed basis. This is predominantly care workers, but can occasionally include managers of services. The courses are established, but you will be expected to develop them in accordance with statutory changes to ensure that they remain current and appropriate.

Previous experience as a trainer delivering in-house Domiciliary Care Health & Social Care Training is essential.

You will design and deliver courses as a need arises. For example this may include "pop up" courses when a specific health care need is identified.

You will deliver most of the courses in our training base in Bridgend. There are occasional times when we have a requirement to travel to another location. Currently this is generally within a 20 mile radius.

You will liaise with colleagues to ensure that the Training Division remains a fully integrated part of our overall service delivery and company ethos.

A professional background in care or health.

. Previous experience as a trainer delivering in-house Domiciliary Care training/Health & Social Care Training is essential.

Experience of the care sector, again in either social care or health.

A keenness to develop services to meet the changing needs of care.

A willingness to engage with our stakeholders, to best understand their training needs.

An ability to use PowerPoint and Microsoft Word though help can be provided).

Pay: 24,420.00-40,377.76 per year
