We're seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to coordinate and deliver Level 5 and 6 Musical Theatre module in Creative Producing. This practical, production-focused module supports students in taking on real-world producing roles for live musical theatre performances in both university and external venues. You'll deliver a series of sessions throughout the academic year, with a focus on producing and include in-person, off-site, and occasional online meeting.
The successful candidate will guide students in developing core producing and arts management skills across all stages of production, from pre-production planning to performance delivery and evaluation.
The appointed postholder will have a good relevant first degree with professional or academic qualifications or significant professional level work in this area and be able to foster creative approaches when responding to teaching, learning and scholarship challenges.
You will work within the team to strengthen the distinctiveness of the University's student experience as high-quality, personalised, accessible and aspirational. You'll need to demonstrate an ability to demonstrable high quality, effective and imaginative teaching willing to use a range of methods including face to face, blended and remote delivery if necessary and liaise with creative teams and University staff to align production and learning outcomes.
