Middlesex University is expanding its high-performing clinical skills team and is seeking an NMC-registered nurse who is eager to blend clinical practice with academic development. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the next generation of healthcare professionals and make a real impact on workforce development in the sector.


We're looking for individuals who:

Have current clinical and/or teaching experience across a range of healthcare settings Are passionate about practice-based learning, teaching innovation, simulation and research. Bring strong leadership skills and a student-focused mindset to enhance the learner experience. Have a keen interest in emerging technologies, including virtual and augmented reality, simulation, and digital learning environments. In this pivotal time of change and growth in nursing and midwifery, you'll play a key role in shaping curricula, supporting skills development, and contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge education that meets the evolving needs of the healthcare workforce.

Preferred candidates will have:

Recent and relevant experience in nursing practice. Confidence in delivering clinical skills training, ideally in resuscitation or moving and handling. Experience working in a clinical skills facility or simulated learning environment. A relevant first degree and active NMC registration as an adult nurse in the UK. A teaching qualification and/or working towards a higher academic degree.
