About this role
The School of Sport, Science and Engineering takes a student-centred, supportive approach to teaching and learning. The department is currently seeking an Associate Lecturer to teach undergraduate modules within the field of Computer Science at our Bognor campus in the coming semester.
The modules you will teach will mainly contribute to the delivery of modules on the University's undergraduate degree routes in Computer science, and Digital and Technology Solutions Professional degree. With the aim of helping to provide our students with a grounding in certain topics such as digital and technology management, IT strategy, data analytics and tools, and ethical and legal considerations.
About you
The successful postholder will have good relevant undergraduate experience and ideally be working towards a postgraduate degree in computing or computer science. You will have a sound understanding of some, or all of the aforementioned computing topics.
You will have experience of delivering high quality, interactive teaching or training activities along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and/or research to support high quality learning and teaching, experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students.
