The opportunity
Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of a unit or part of a unit. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of learning and support our students receive in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully.
You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Course Leader and Programme Director.

Your profile
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Associate Lecturer to tutor MA Music Management students across our Artist Management, Artist development, and Master's Project units. Your role will involve guiding students through an in-depth exploration of artist management and artist development strategies across the live, recorded and publishing sectors, as well as supporting them in their final major project in developing effective business strategies for the music industry. These units focus on the business and supportive roles of the manager, including management structures, commission and other deals, contracts, budgeting, and the process of building and developing a business plan for an artist or a project. The second unit focuses on successful and sustainable management and development of artists and their output, including marketing theories, strategic planning, image and imagery, approaches to media and social media. The Associate Lecturer position involves all aspects of unit design, delivery and assessment. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of learning and support our students receive in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully.
