About The Role




You will be responsible for supporting the development, optimization and implementation of manufacturing processes for cutting-edge innovative products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality assurance to develop manufacturing operations which are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our client's needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities



Process Development & Optimization:


Collaborate and support on projects from concept through to production, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution to a high-quality standard and put into practice Support the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing processes that meet product design requirements and quality standards Evaluate existing manufacturing methods and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost reduction

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


Work closely with our clients to translate product requirements into manufacturable solutions Provide technical expertise during the transition from prototype to full-scale production

Quality & Compliance:


Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Support the team with root cause analysis and help implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:


Stay abreast of emerging technologies and manufacturing trends, communicating learnings to the team and supporting the integration of best practices into our processes

Supplier & Equipment Management:


Collaborate with suppliers and equipment vendors to select and implement the best technologies and materials

About You





Skills and Attributes



An understanding of the transfer to manufacture, manufacturing process development and world class manufacturing principles Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Great presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Confident working in a fast-paced environment Confident ability with Microsoft Office applications

Experience and Education


Ideally degree-educated or equivalent, preferably in a STEM subject Ideally 1-2 years' experience of working within one of the following environments: technical/design consultancy; technology start-up; new product development/engineering department Experience of how projects transition from concept through to production
