Main duties of the job




As the Associate Medical Director - Adult Community Services, you will:


Drive Performance Excellence:

Deliver on Key Performance Indicators for community health services, ensuring compliance with national standards and Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements.

Champion Service Improvement:

Coordinate and lead service enhancements across all community health directorates, fostering integration with wider system partners.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

Advise on and support negotiations with healthcare commissioners, ensuring strategic alignment with service priorities and demands.

Promote Clinical Governance:

Work closely with executive and clinical leads to ensure robust governance throughout the mental health care pathways.

Foster Inclusivity:

Advocate for a culture of belonging and equality, ensuring diverse representation and a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination.

Financial Stewardship:

Support financial planning and management, collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Community Services to develop sustainable service plans.

We're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people's physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
