We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NHS Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental care, with a passion for providing exceptional patient experiences. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality dental services while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat dental issues, including caries, periodontal disease, and other oral conditions.
Perform routine dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Provide preventive care and oral hygiene advice to patients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, complying with NHS standards and data protection laws.
Work within UDA (Units of Dental Activity) targets as agreed with the NHS and the practice.
Manage dental emergencies in accordance with practice policies.
Refer patients to secondary or specialist care when necessary.
Adhere to infection control procedures and health and safety regulations.
Keep up to date with CPD requirements and ensure compliance with GDC (General Dental Council) regulations.
Participate in team meetings, audits, and quality improvement activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent qualification recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC).
Performer number and eligibility to work in the NHS
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:
Dependent on experience, UDA rate, and number of UDAs
Private income potential if applicable
