The Associate Paralegal Specialist is responsible for performing routine assignments in an entry-level role to support the paralegal discipline at McDermott. The role requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within the paralegal discipline.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Maintain log for documents for signature, distribute and collect signatures
Assist with database maintenance - uploads document, runs reports, assists with requests for director and officers or entity information
Assist in maintaining entity minute books and entity stock ledgers, when required
Assist with Auditor Requests - maintain a log of information reviewed
Legal Research as requested
Assist with drafting of corporate documents - consents, minutes, powers of attorney
General typing, scanning, copying, federal express preparation (postage), and other administrative tasks (organize and schedule meetings and appointments, organize travel arrangements, submit and reconcile department expense reports) including legal presentations & training
Assist with the documentation and monitor requests for the establishment, change, and dissolution of legal entities
Co-ordinate the SAF legal group and ensure timely submissions and responses for proposals, gate reviews and project execution matters.
Liaison with SAF other functions to meet legal deadlines and output.
Support for office matters including 3rd party liaison.
Supporting legal function in SCM matters.
Updating Evisort and legal document depositories.
Liaison with litigation function in Houston as required
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's Degree or combined relevant experience
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with entity management software required
General knowledge and understanding of legal entities and the workings of a corporation
Demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and ability to learn new topics and technology quickly
Excellent client service skills and ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision
Well-organized and detail-oriented
Solid written and verbal communication skills
