About the role


------------------


The UCL School of Management is looking to appoint an Associate Professor (Teaching) in societal impact. The postholder will have the opportunity to engage in strategic leadership, advancing the school's goal to embed societal impact in all its activities across education, research, and engagement with external parties. In addition to overseeing and co-ordinating the school's activities in societal impact, the postholder will personally lead initiatives that enhance the school's societal impact in London and internationally. The postholder may also be involved in dissertation/project supervision, personal tutoring, and a range of citizenship roles within the School and/or the wider UCL.



It is an exciting time to join the UCL School of Management as it is going through a significant expansion which will see it deliver on a new strategy to double in size over the next five years. An increase in degree programmes and staff will ensure that the School continues its mission to deliver the next generation of socially conscious and entrepreneurial leaders who will tackle the world's greatest challenges.


This is a post on the Education/Teaching track and is not an academic research track post.

Salary - UCL Grade 9 68,284 - 76,244 pa (including London allowance)

About you

We are looking for someone with:


A PhD (or equivalent) in business, management, or a related field.

Proven experience in leading societal impact initiatives within a business school or related context.

Strong teaching ability, with excellent evaluations and experience across diverse student groups.

Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and the ability to build effective, collegiate relationships.
