We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Project Manager to join our Project Manager team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) for a 12-month fixed-term (maternity cover) contract based in Keele.
The Associate Project Manager must have relevant scientific background and experience to be able to represent Charles River to internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide support on all activities required within the project management group.

To liaise between the Customer and relevant departments to ensure that technical matters are raised and customer deadlines are met.

To understand the Company's Quality System and to ensure this is communicated and supported with customer interactions.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent scientific qualification preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience working as an Associate Project Manager or Project Manager and must understand cGMP, drug and process development and the Regulatory processes. Proven record of successful management of multiple tasks.

Other:

Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Be able to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to work effectively and efficiently, to meet deadlines.

The starting salary for this role is 30,000 - any negation will be dependent on experience.
