Salary 70-127 per hour (based on percentage fee from our referral sources with variable fee rates)

Full/part- time opportunityLondon (may be required to travel to our clinics across London in Balham, Tooting and Walthamstow) with some remote work online when required. Also please indicate if you can offer weekend/evening availability for clinics.

This post is for an HCPC registered associate psychologist with at least one year of post-qualification experience (Doctoral level or equivalent) and who can offer at least 12 sessions per week in our clinics and online.



You will be joining a welcoming team of psychologists, psychotherapists, and holistic practitioners. You will primarily work independently seeing clients for individual evidence-based therapies as well as within a holistic team approach; working on the body, mind, and lifestyle in combination. You will also have the opportunity to deliver talks and workshops to companies, charities and at festivals and events. We welcome our associates to be as involved in the practice as they would like, such as running projects and developing services.

We are mindful that private work can be isolating, which is why we are committed to creating a supportive team environment where we provide regular opportunities for connection and supervision.Your sessions can be divided across different days and times, ideally with some of these being during the evening or weekend to accommodate our clients who are unable to attend during usual working hours. There will be a mix of online and face to face work and you can be based in any of our London locations depending on current needs and the most suitable location for you.

The role and person specification:



You will have a Doctorate level qualification (or equivalent) in clinical or counselling psychology, and you must be registered as a practitioner psychologist with HCPC. You will offer a high standard of assessment and formulation driven evidence-based individual psychological therapies to our adult clients. You have a strong interest in body and lifestyle approaches such that you can support our clients to access complementary holistic approaches as appropriate (yoga for mental health, mindfulness meditation, somatic experiencing, and nutritional therapy) and work as a team with our holistic practitioners. You will have at least one year post-qualification experience of working therapeutically with adults using comprehensive assessment and formulation based approaches and for a range of presenting difficulties and complexities. You are confident in delivering at least two evidence-based therapies, ideally with accreditation in at least one of these (e.g. CBT, EMDR, Schema) or working towards accreditation. You are able to work integratively using a person-centred and formulation driven approach. You are able to work independently and to use support and supervision regularly and as needed. You are able to manage your own schedule and can offer some flexibility with appointments; offering some clinic times out of usual working hours (evenings or weekends) You are registered with private health insurance companies or are happy to register upon joining us (AXA, Aviva, BUPA, WPA, Vitality, Cigna etc). We will support you with this. You are responsive, accountable and reliable in your communications and relationship with the practice as well as with clinical work. You are able to follow the clinic's processes and procedures including those for administrative purposes such as record keeping, invoicing and closing/ opening client work. We also have administrative support. You will be interested and enthusiastic about our holistic and team/ community ethos. You will support the development of our practice by attending team meetings, contributing to discussions, attending relevant training and team events.
