Responsibilities:

Our London Real Estate Litigation team is seeking an NQ to join the team.

You will enjoy a challenging and varied caseload as well as excellent professional development opportunities. The team is assisted by outstanding knowledge lawyers and dedicated support staff.



The department acts for a broad range of clients including;Commercial landlords and some tenants. Investors. Developers. Ground rent and other residential landlords. Social Housing organisations. Private individuals.


The firm operates a hybrid agile working policy. We expect 3 days in the office per week. Individuals can also apply for other flexible working options either at the time of recruitment or during the course of their employment.
Essential & Desirable Criteria:

Experience of a range of commercial L&T, living sector and real property issues is sought including some or all of the following:

Commercial and residential landlord and tenant including + Issues arising out of the Building Safety Act 2022 + 1954 Act renewals (contested and uncontested)
+ service charges
+ rent recovery and forfeiture
+ housing defects
+ tenant insolvency
+ alienation
Real property disputes + rights of light + nuisance
+ restrictive covenants
+ easements



There are opportunities for involvement in other areas such as:

Disputes relating to sale and purchase, development agreement, forward funding and agreements for lease Planning disputes Complex transactional support
