The Role




Our Private Client team in Putney is seeking a highly motivated, professional individual with ideally 5 years PQE, with excellent academics who can demonstrate a breadth of experience and a keen desire to develop their knowledge and practice.


The successful candidate can expect a range of private client work in a supportive collegiate team that is widely recognised for its expertise in this area. Our client base is varied but we act for high-net worth individuals and their families who are UK based as well as international clients.


Technical skills and expertise




Your skills and experience will enable you to perform a range of duties in the Private Client team which include but are not limited to;


Dealing with taxable estates Drafting of Wills Advise on inheritance tax Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney Advise on trusts Prepare Court of Protection applications in relation to Property and Financial Affairs Managing Deputy Files

You will regularly work with other teams including our Trusts & Estates Disputes, Corporate & Commercial, Commercial Property and Family.


About you




We are looking for an ambitious individual with excellent academics (ideally having achieved a minimum of a 2:1) to join our team. Attendance at our other offices will depend on client need. We have an agile working policy which includes working from home for up to 40% of working time each month.


The successful individual will be expected to demonstrate sound knowledge and experience of a range of private client work with a keen desire to develop their knowledge and practice, including professional private client focused qualifications. Having court of protection experience is essential, as does the ability to develop and maintain good client relationships. A proven ability to supervise and delegate will be important whilst demonstrating a team ethos and acting as a role model for others.
